Why has xanga become so uncool?

Well, I'll be moving to Denton in less than a month, scarry but very exciting! I'll be sharing a room with my dear sister Claudia :) that should be interesting. 

This is our small but cozy living room.  I can't wait to finally move in!

In the meanwhile, I'll be here in good ol funky town finishing Art Appreciation and spending as much time as I can with the people I love.  <Fernie> I love you!

Some recent facts about me...

I got in my first "car wreck" last week on my way to church. 

I have decided to transfer to Texas Woman's University in the fall. 

I raised my GPA to a 2.75, exactly what I need to get into the Bilingual Education program at TWU! Wahhhoo!

Today is mine and Fernando's 5 month anniversary.  <3 I love my honey

Some interesting facts about me....

I'm finally 21!

School is almost over and I'm passing all my classes! That is awesome!

I never wear lipstick because it makes my lips look HUGE!

I'm going to be an ESL teacher

I love to sing, mostly praises to my King

My bestfriends are the people who encourage me to live for God.  (Claudia, Hannah and Sarah, Fernando,  Pastor David, Diana Allen, and Vero)

I have the best family ever! My Mom is the best woman I have ever met. 

My sister had cancer and God totally healed her!  God is GOOD!

I have two amazing nephews, the cutest boys in the world!

Fernando and I love to eat sushi...raw fish, yummy! 

I work from 7:30-4:30 and go to school from 5:30-8:30, church time, family time, and boyfriend time....ahhhhh! So much to do and not enough hours in a day.

I like to guess the secret sound on KLTY, eventhough I'm never right.

My mentors are: Mom, Pastor David, Diana Allen, and Sarah Talamantes.

Where I want to be in the next 5 years: Married, working as an ESL teacher at some middle school in Ft. Worth.  Being part of an awesome church where God can use my talents. 

Bilingual Education.  I'm so excited about my major!  waaahhhooo! I always knew my calling was to make a difference in young people, but I never thought I would be doing that through teaching.  I always thought the place for that was in youth ministry, but I know God will use me in this area more effectively.  I'm amazed at how God opened this door for me, and what an awesome opportunity he has given me to major in an area that I myself had to go through.  (Yes, all through elementary and middle school I had to go through ESL classes.)  Now, I have the opportunity to do what was done for me! How awesome is that?!?!?

Getting there is a challenge though.  I pray that I will make the right choice on what school to transfer and that God will provide the necessary funds to make it through college. 

 "He will make a way where there seems to be no way.  He works in ways we cannot see, he will make a way for me."

Jesus- Thank you for being AWESOME and too great to comprehend.  I stand in awe of you Lord.  There are things about you that are too great for my mind to understand, and I praise you for that. 

Helleluja! Another wonderful birthday for me! Saturday was my 21st birthday and I praise God for another year of life.  I celebrated it with good friends, my wonderful family, and great boyfriend.
